2008 British Championship Qualifiers, Jon Audis and Cathal Westman, returned from Sheffield disappointed they were unable to match their personal best performances but nonetheless having enjoyed the experience. Audis, a relative veteran on the National stage and Westman, a 2006 National age group silver medallist, took part in the 100m backstroke and 200m breaststroke respectively. Both will now join a party of 14 swimmers who will fly out on Thursday to the Pretoria High Performance Centre in South Africa for a warm weather, high altitude training camp from the 10th – 21st April, to prepare for the remainder of the season..
Congratulations also goes to Richard Moorhouse who was selected as a senior official for this year’s British Swimming Championships and acted as a Starter all week.
