British Swimming Masters Championships 2007

In 2006, Swindon Dolphin Masters were the 3rd top Masters Team in GB. This year, the goal is to go further and aim for the No1 Masters Team in GB. We have over 60 Masters swimmers in Swindon Dolphin today – and a majority of this number are more than capable of swimming at this event – even if it’s just 50m Freestyle or 50m Breaststroke (and that’s less than 2 lengths of our home pool at Milton Road ).

This competition will take place at Manchester Aquatic Centre ~ and for those of you who have not been there, it’s simply an awesome venue. Dates of the Championships are June 15th – 17th, and the entry criteria is age 18+ as of 31st December 2007 (or 18 years on the day of your first swim in the Championships if entering the 72yr + relays).

Events include :

50m, 100m & 200m across Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke & Butterfly.

400m, 800m & 1500m Freestyle

200m & 400m Individual Medley

Various Mens / Womens & Mixed Relays.

ENTRIES CLOSE – WEDNESDAY 16th MAY 2007

NB All swimmers age 25+ score points for the team by just swimming an event, irrespective of time/place. 1 Point for a swim + 3 for Gold, 2 for Silver and 1 for Bronze ~ so every swimmer will help the team reach #1
