Dolphins Participate at Swimming Camps

Chris Jones attended his first senior squad Scottish National Training Camp of the season on the 21st & 22nd of September at the Scottish National Swimming Institute, Sterling University . Working with Scottish National Coach, Chris Martin and Director of Swimming, Ally Whike, this was a excellent opportunity for Chris to assess his preparation and progress for the Olympic Trials next year.

Meanwhile, Cathal Westman took part in the first residential camp of the 2007/8 England Talent & Development Programme for 14 & 15 year old swimmers, over the weekend (22nd/23rd September). Secluded within the Quantock Hills at Quantock Lodge in Somerset , the event was led by Head Coach Graham Bassi, Skills Coach Doug Campbell and the Regional Talent and Development Coach, Dr Andrei Vorontsov.

James Clark attended his first one-day camp on the 2007/8 England Talent & Development Programme for 12 & 13 year old swimmers at Taunton School on Sat 15th September. Dolphin’s Andi Manley was Head Coach on the camp working with Andrei Vorontsov and other coaches from the region.
