Four European Masters Titles for Dolphin on Day Two

Chief Coach Andi Manley bagged two individual European Masters titles (30-34 years) today and was a member of Dolphin’s successful (100-119 years) freestyle relay team on day 2 of the European Masters Championships 2007 in Kranj.

Andi Manley
Manley retained
his 2005 European Masters 200m freestyle title touching in first place in
1.57.06. He secured his second title
in the 100m butterfly taking gold in a time of 57.90.
In
the same age group John
Drake was ninth and Jon
Audis (25-29 years) was sixth in the 100m fly.
Meanwhile Chris
Jones was on the podium again today winning the 50m
breaststroke (25-29 year age group) in a European Masters record time of 28.65.
In
the same event Nigel
Masters was seventh in the 35-39 year age group and Steve
Cryer was ninth in the 40-44 year group.
Dolphin’s
fourth title was the 100-119 years 4 X 50m freestyle relay. Manley, Jones, Masters and Audis took
gold in a time of 1.38.01.
