Great News for Sarah

We are delighted that Sarah Roberts is doing very well and understand on Saturday she received news that her scan results are clear. According to her dad, Keith, “this means that Sarah does not need any further treatment at this stage though she will need to attend follow-up consultations. She can now focus on her recovery phase.”

16 year old Sarah was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma back in November after a lump appeared on her shoulder. Since then the Dolphin Senior Squad swimmer has had two courses of chemotherapy in Oxford. Mum, Karen, thanked the club for its support and explained that her daughter is missing her swimming terribly. “She is eager to return to the water now and regain some of her fitness.”

Sarah’s squad colleagues convey their very best wishes and everybody at Swindon Dolphin is keen to see her back on poolside in the very near future.
