Dolphin Masters team overturned a first round deficit of 70 points
to go ten points clear of previous leaders

at the Link Centre last Saturday. Dolphin
will now be looking to secure the Wiltshire Masters championship in the final round
on 6th October with
Salisbury
the only serious challenger, themselves over 100 points clear of third place Swindon
Area Masters (SAMs).
Dolphin dominated throughout in the second of three rounds clocking up 33 victories, 19 runners up positions and eight new county records as the team re-produced their excellent form of 2006. Leading the way amongst the record breakers was Brian Davis, clocking up new County records in the 70-74 year age group in 100m backstroke, 50m butterfly and 100m breaststroke.

Manley established new County records in the 30-34 age group for 100m backstroke
and 50m fly, with Glenys
France also setting a new best time in the 50m fly, in the 60-64 group. Two
relay records were also broken on the night. The
squad of 33 saw debuts for Cally and Jenna
Gould, Sharon
Gromelski, and Mike
Eaton.
Current points for the top three positions: 1 – Swindon Dolphin 249.5 points 2 – Salisbury 239 points 3 – Swindon Area Masters 125 points.
