Summer League Round 3
Tigersharks
A won the third round of the Moonraker Summer League with 17 points to spare over
Swindon Dolphin A at the Link Centre on Saturday Night; Trowbridge A were third and
Swindon Dolphin B finished fourth.
With most of the National qualifiers and European bound masters away in Millfield School for the long course training camp and a few other regulars from both teams unavailable, there was an unfamiliar look to the Dolphin A and B team sheets. However, this was seen as a golden opportunity for some of the younger and less experienced swimmers to demonstrate their ability and they all played their part in a memorable gala.

relay victories in the boys’ u12 & u14, 4×1 frs, and the men’s & women’s open
4X1 frs.

Niall Westman (boys’ u12 50m brs) was the sole winner for the B team but there were creditable seconds for Ben Clark (boys’ u14 50m brs) and the men’s open freestyle relay team of John Drake, Richard Fouracre, Sam Wells and Paul Kirk. >
