Selections for Development Programmes 2022-2023

Congratulations to Eva Higginbotham, Megan Watts, Lucas Carter and Sophie King who have been selected for the Swim England National Age Group Development Programme 2022-2023. Ella Williams has also been selected for the National Youth Development Programme 2022-2023 as part of the Sprint Distance group, after some brilliant performances at the British Summer Championships and Swim England National Summer Meet 2022.

The Swim England Swimming Talent Team organise a series of development programmes that provide a pathway to support young swimmers and the ‘team behind the performer’ in their quest to achieve senior international podium success. The programme plays a supporting role at the start of your journey to become the Great British swimmer.

Congratulations to Betina Puszkarska and Jacob Burton for their selections on the Swim England South West Development Programme 2022-2023 for swimmers aged 12 years old (age as at 31st December 2022). This involves 48 swimmers – 24 boys and 24 girls – from clubs within the South West Region, following on from performances at the South West Regional Championships 2022. The camps will be held at Millfield School, along with online education sessions.
