2021 Team Captains

We would like to announce our Team Captains for the 2021 season. Girls Team Captain is Alice Lockey and Boys Team Captain is Ethan Gough.

Boys Team Captain, Ethan Gough, became a 3-time County Champion at the 2020 Wiltshire County Championships in his favoured backstroke events, and at the South West Regional Championships 2019, he made finals in both the 50m and 100m Backstroke, finishing in 4th and 6th place respectively.

Ethan has recently been selected for the Swim England National Development Pathway; a fantastic achievement. We are very excited to see what Ethan can achieve as he progresses over the next few years as a senior athlete, and as a role model to our younger swimmers.

Girls Team Captain, Alice Lockey, has achieved much success over the last few years at the Wiltshire County Championships, making finals and achieving medals. In addition to this, Alice has finalled at the South West Regional Championships in the 200m Butterfly, her favoured event.

Alice is a great role model to the club's swimmers, volunteering regularly with the SwimSkills, Academy and County Squads. We are looking forward to seeing how Alice can continue to grow as a swimmer and as a person.

I am sure you will join us in recognising just how much both of these swimmers deserve to represent Swindon Dolphin. Alice and Ethan are resilient, hard working and have a positive attitude towards the sport and their peers. They will continue to inspire the next generation of swimmers at Swindon Dolphin.
